A long season full of plenty of losing could result in a big win for the Vancouver Canucks.
The Canucks enter the lottery with the best odds to win the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The Canucks have an 18.5 per cent chance of winning the pick via the lottery, but their odds to pick first overall increase to 25 per cent since teams can only move up 10 slots with a lottery win. Those odds will change for the second lottery based on the results of the first.
