On the June 3rd episode of “The Colin Cowherd Podcast,” host Colin Cowherd and co-host John Middlekauff discussed Tom Brady’s next chapter as an NFL analyst for FOX Sports. Drawing parallels between Brady’s potential broadcasting approach and that of Peyton Manning, citing the success of Manning’s Monday Night Football Manningcast, Middlekauff suggested that Brady could similarly balance a corporate demeanor with a personable style that has made him a beloved teammate.

“Tom, he can play the corporate guy like Peyton Manning… like there’s the reason he’s the number one teammate in the history of the league,” Middlekauff remarked. He also predicted a significant viewer interest in Brady’s broadcasting debut and predicted a 20% viewership increase for games he covers. “I would imagine that the first game, Cleveland vs. Dallas, what do you think, that’s getting a 20% bump for the Tom Brady. Just people interested in seeing what this is gonna sound like. It is gonna be a lot of eyeballs on that game,” he added.
The high expectations surrounding Brady’s transition to broadcasting are running high, with fans and analysts alike eager to see how the legendary quarterback will fare in this new role.
