Kate Martin Way Above Kamilla Cardoso and Brittney Griner as Fans Remain Divided Over 2024 WNBA All-Star Game Voting

Kate Martin is ranked 12th in the fan voting for the 2024 WNBA All-Star game. Despite it not being the ideal season for the 2x WNBA champions, the Aces have bounced back with a dominant 94-83 victory over the Seattle Storm. And all eyes were on the Aces’ rookie Kate Martin, who had one of her worst games, scoring zero points in her 10-minute underperformance. Despite this, she stands among the top 15 All-Stars and that did not sit too well with the WNBA fans.

Fans react to Martin’s ranking on the All-Star list

Despite Martin’s recent underperformance, she has been one of the most impressive rookies this season. She solidified her presence by being picked 18th overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Las Vegas Aces. “If you want to cite the overall popularity of this whole rookie class, Kate Martin’s 12th place should do it succinctly,” penned one fan.

As of now, she averages 4.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. However, all this isn’t enough to satisfy spectators, and naturally, her 12th position has led to criticism. “So what I’m hearing is Kate Martin is an All-Star,” wrote another spectator.
