Julian Lewis Pens Heartfelt Note to His Father on His Special Day Ahead of Crucial Colorado Visit

For college football players there might be football legends who they consider to be GOAT but to Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis his father is his GOAT. As the USC Trojans quarterback is going through yet another breakthrough in his career, he indulges in doing something special instead of worrying about his future.

The five-star quarterback has just done with his visit to Indiana last weekend and now he shared some pictures with his father. T.C. Lewis on X. Of course, June 3 was special as it marked Lewis’ father’s birthday. Before the wish came, the QB was spotted doing something grand for his father.

This season Lewis has been quite a name and college football programs are banking on his last two seasons at Carrollton High School (as a freshman and sophomore) where he had a completion rate of 66%. With this, the exceptional talent received attention from elite college football programs. He is managing the visits well and has evolved in multitasking as amidst his hectic schedule he ensured to celebrate his father’s birthday. In the post with the caption, “Happy birthday to the GOAT (emoji)”, Lewis and his father’s strong bond is something that fans could notice at first. 

People often go gaga about the player’s on-field antics but not many talk about his success in NIL space. Benefitting from Georgia High School Athletic Association’s recent policy change which now allows high school players to profit from NIL, Lewis secured a six-figure contract with Leaf Trading Cards. The other endorsement deals followed were lifestyle brand Alo Yoga and jewelry brand Jaxxon. The Trojans QB indulged this victory by making his father feel special as he purchased his first car as well as one for his dad. Now the next question lies in whether the father-son bond will propel Lewis more towards making a crucial step by committing to Colorado out of all the programs or not. Wondering why?

T.C. Lewis and Deion Sanders share a personal connection and trust. Considering family is a common theme within the Colorado Buffaloes’ program, a familial environment at Colorado could be what sets the Buffs over the top.

Now that Lewis will be taking up Shedeur Sanders’ position in case he joins Coach Prime’s program, On3’s national recruiting analyst Phillip Dukes has pointed out a similarity.  “The father-son relationship that Deion Sanders has with his son, Shedeur, is very similar to the relationship of T.C. Lewis and Julian. T.C. has been in his life the whole time and he’s basically bred Julian for this moment, the same way Deion basically bred Shedeur,” commented Dukes. On the other hand, the quarterback’s affinity for Colorado is no secret since June 21 will mark his third stop in Boulder.
