Recently, Mitchell Hooper posted a video of him practicing his lifts for the famed upcoming Giants Live Strongman Classic 2024 in which Hooper will be competing. The World’s strongest man is aiming to break the world record at the upcoming event. And by the looks of it, he may have a very good chance of taking home the win.
Mitchell Hooper is all set to make history with his new lift

In the video, the Canadian powerhouse Mitchell Hooper did an axle barbell lift in the gym. He lifted a staggering weight of 476 pounds, which is just two pounds less than the current world record at the Giants Live event. The strongman lifted the barbell like it was a piece of cake for him, and he was all set to break the world record.
“World record attempt (currently 217kg). I’m coming,” wrote the powerlifter. After lifting the weight, Hooper got so excited that he threw the barbell on the pads, and the barbell jumped pretty high.

The show is scheduled for July 13th, 2024, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The competition is going to be intense with the presence of athletes like Tom Stoltman, Evan Singleton, and Mathew Rigg.
