Anthony Edwards and Michael Jordan. Two names that have been used interchangeably and to everyone’s heart’s content. Ever since the Georgia product walked in with a swagger and oozing confidence, Edwards has been compared to the greatest basketball player. However, the rumor that he is MJ’s son took flight in 2021.
The 22-year-old has just joined an exclusive club of youngsters who scored 40 points. And a particularly appreciative fan commented with a picture of the two players. Side by side. Looking unbelievably identical, that anyone would have a tough time believing the two weren’t related.

The 16-year-old NBA enthusiast and her podcast have had some of the top league names join her for a fun yet eye-opening chat. The latest episode wasn’t any different, either. They took a short tour of his NBA life and, in general, the two touched upon the MJ-Anthony Edwards son topic.
A Marquette alum, Juan knew Jordan‘s daughter, Jasmine M. Jordan, in college. “I knew Michael Jordan’s daughter. She was really good friends with a young lady who played basketball at Marquette and he doesn’t look like them,” the 2022 NBA champion confirmed. After a moment of reflection, in which he looked like he was debating with himself, Juan laughed and said, “He looked like Michael a little bit, but he don’t look like the rest of his kids.”
Sloane, for her part, replied, “They could have had a different mom, probably, realistically, right?” to which Anderson nodded and said, “Maybe.”

There you go, a first-hand report. In all honesty, though, the 2x LNBP champion looked like he couldn’t completely take the similarities the pair shared off his mind. Clearly, neither can the NBA world at large. Anthony Edwards may not be the biological son of ‘His Airness,’ but the comparisons will no doubt continue.
Well, what do you peeps say? Was Juan’s story enough to put an end to the ‘son’ rumors? Or will they simply continue regardless of all the facts? Let us know what you think!
