The three-time French Open winner, Novak Djokovic was forced to withdraw his name from the QF after suffering a knee injury during his fourth-round victory against Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo. As per his medical reports, he tore the meniscus in his right knee during the process and was all set to undergo surgery in Paris on Wednesday. Just after hearing the Serb’s surgery news, his fans were worried whether they would see him at the Wimbledon this year. But recently, Novak Djokovic released an update upon completing the surgery successfully. And Coco Gauff was the first to send regards to Djokovic after the recent update.

Novak Djokovic took to Instagram to give an update to his fans, he wrote,In the past day, I had to make some tough decisions after sustaining a meniscus tear during my last match. I’m still processing it all but I am happy to update you that the surgery went well.The 37-year-old Serbian tennis star went on to thank all those who helped him during this process,I am so appreciative of the team of doctors who have been by my side, as well as the overwhelming support I have received from my fans.
