Billionaire Donald Trump Attacks Philadelphia Eagles in Presidential Campaign, Reigniting Dislike After Cancelling White House Visit

It really happened! Former POTUS Donald Trump had a few things to say about the Philadelphia Eagles and they are not good. Trump is rallying around to become the President once again and this time, he is in Philly, his first city of 2024. Trump wanted to connect to the audience and in turn dissed the Philadelphia Eagles for being “a little bit” good.

MLFootball shared a clip of Trump going on a tangent and talking about the Eagles and getting a roar from the audience. No doubt that Philly fans love their football team, but that didn’t stop Trump from speaking his mind and doing what he does best: flame his opinion unapologetically.

“You used to have good teams. Do you still have good teams here? I don’t know,” said Donald Trump as the room let him know that they were upset. But this is not the first time Trump had friction with the football team. Back in 2018, the Eagles were invited to visit the White House and just a handful of them showed up.

Trump let his dissatisfaction out on X when he wrote, “The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House. Unfortunately, only a small number of players decided to come, and we canceled the event. Staying in the Locker Room for the playing of our National Anthem is as disrespectful to our country as kneeling. Sorry!”
