Writing, “UCLA confirms Chae 5th year?!?” This was accompanied by a screenshot of UCLA gymnastics’ Instagram reel, captioned, “Keeping the dream alive for five! 😉” The reel was a mix of Campbell’s incredible performances on the mat as a UCLA student and her reminiscing about those wins in front of a trophy cabinet. In the end, Campbell is seen wearing a blue UCLA-embossed tank top, back in her practice gear. All but confirming that Campbell is returning for another year, much to the relief of her fans and followers. The news came right after UCLA confirmed that senior gymnast Selena Harris had been dismissed and is currently in the transfer portal.
