Akademiks and Daphne Joy have taken over the internet after sharing some cozy flicks from what looked like a date night. Ak dropped the photos on Instagram showing them looking very much boo’d up, while Daphne rocked a deep V-cut dress and he kept it chill in an all-black fit with a blinged-out chain. In one pic, Daphne holds a rose while Ak wraps his arms around her from behind. Other photos show them all cuddled up as he continues posing right by her side. In his caption, Ak told his followers he was happy they finally linked up and even asked if folks were ready for the wedding.

Daphne Joy already hinted that she would be down to go on a date with Akademiks during her recent interview with Cam Newton. When Cam asked if she would be willing to pop out with him, she didn’t hesitate and quickly replied, “Oh yes!” Ak later reacted to the idea on X (formerly Twitter), saying Daphne has good taste in men and joking that folks would start hating the minute they saw them outside together. “She got good taste in men.
