Pooh Shiesty’s Federal Trial Date Is Officially Set

A federal court has reportedly locked in July 6 as the official trial date for Pooh Shiesty, his father, and seven additional co-defendants. They’re all reportedly connected to a federal robbery and kidnapping case stemming from an alleged incident at a Dallas recording studio earlier this year. Reports say the date was confirmed through a court order filed Tuesday. Now, it’s officially setting the stage for the high-profile case to move forward in Texas federal court.

Prosecutors Detail Serious Allegations Against Pooh Shiesty

According to prosecutors, the situation allegedly unfolded inside a music studio where Gucci and others were reportedly present earlier this year. Court filings claim armed individuals entered the studio and used threats and intimidation during a confrontation involving multiple victims. Prosecutors further allege that Pooh Shiesty — whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr. — played a significant role during the incident. At one point, he allegedly pulled out an AK-style firearm while confronting one of the victims, Gucci Mane.

Federal Allegations Against The Rapper Raise Eyebrows

Federal authorities also allege victims were robbed of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash, and other valuables during the ordeal. In addition, prosecutors claim at least one victim — reportedly Gucci Mane — was allegedly forced to sign contractual release paperwork. The documents were allegedly connected to a recording agreement while the victim was being threatened at gunpoint. Additionally, others were reportedly prevented from leaving the studio during the confrontation.

The kidnapping-related allegations especially have social media talking because federal charges tied to holding victims against their will can carry major consequences if convictions occur. Still, it’s important to note that these remain allegations at this time, and all defendants remain presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
