David Warner gears up to promote his Tollywood debut

David Warner is about to hit a different kind of sixer—this time, in Tollywood! The Australian cricketer, who’s a huge fan of Telugu cinema, is making his big-screen debut with Robinhood. Starring Nithiin and Sreeleela and directed by Venky Kudumula, the film has already created a lot of buzz, thanks to its catchy songs and Warner’s surprise cameo. Now, adding to the excitement, the makers have confirmed that Warner will also be actively promoting the film, making the pre-release hype even bigger.  

Producer Ravi Shankar from Mythri Movie Makers recently confirmed Warner’s cameo at a pre-release event, calling it an exciting addition to the film. Director Venky Kudumula also shared that Warner won’t just be making an appearance—he’ll be part of the promotions too. The cricketer shot his scenes back in September 2024 during the Australia schedule of Robinhood. With his massive fan following in Telugu states, especially after his time with SunRisers Hyderabad, his presence in the film has only made fans more eager to watch it.
