Turkish goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan has died following Monday’s earthquake in his residence nation, his membership Yeni Malatyaspor has confirmed.
“Our goalkeeper, Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan, misplaced his life after being below the collapse of the earthquake. Relaxation in peace,” the membership mentioned on Twitter.
“We is not going to neglect you, lovely individual,” it added.
Turkaslan, 28, performed six instances for Turkish second division membership Yeni Malatyaspor after becoming a member of in 2021.
Former Crystal Palace and Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, who presently performs for Turkish second tier aspect Caykur Rizespor, mentioned on Twitter: “RIP brother Eyup Ahmet Turkaslan. One second you may see somebody within the dugout, the following second they’re gone.”
Bolasie added: “My condolences to all his household and team-mates at Yeni Malatyaspor. Devastating to listen to and need we are able to all proceed to assist everybody in want.”
