
He also added, “In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered and express my deepest condolences. May we as a nation, stand united, strong and get justice against this heinous act.” Apart from Shah Rukh, Salman Khan has slammed the terrorists for killing innocent people. He said, “Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. During a past interview with Times Of India, Shah Rukh had opened up about being accepted despite his religion, and maintaining a liberal upbringing for his kids. “People have accepted me for what I am, nobody has ever questioned my religion.” He further added, “I am an educated, liberal Muslim, and I am proud to be a Muslim. My wife is Hindu. My children learn both the religions.”

Opening up about terrorism, Khan said, “Nobody supports terrorism… And terrorism recognises no religion. I have read the Quran and nowhere does it encourage the killing of people. Such acts only take us backward. We should take a stand and we should talk against terrorism. Even if we don’t talk against it, we should be completely against it.”
