What a run it has been for Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics so far. After a disappointing end to the 2022 Finals, Tatum is back to a familiar place by sweeping the Indiana Pacers 4-0 to top the Eastern Conference. However, the ultimate battle is yet to happen, which the fans are eagerly waiting for. But before that, here is a message from Tatum to his haters, for which he decided to steal a few famous words from NBA legend Carmelo Anthony.
Tatum showcased his best performance against the Pacers in the playoffs this year. He averaged 30.3 points, 10.3 rebounds. and 6.3 assists per game with a field goal percentage of 46.8. However, he did not get enough spotlight for this efficiency. So he wrote on his Instagram, “It’s enough haters out there, why not cheer for me” – @carmeloanthony“, to which Anthony’s 17-year-old Kiyan replied, “!!”.

This quote from Anthony was shared during his time with the Portland Trailblazers. It was in 2021, amid his battle against the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. Anthony had quite a disappointing performance in game 2, in which the Blazers lost. He had just 5 points and 2 rebounds in 21 minutes, for which he was criticized. So, on training day before game 3, Anthony called out his haters with the above quote.
