Baby Biles Follows Simone Biles Gymnastics Moves In An Adorable Celebration Of 9th Win


Ronni “Baby” Biles, the latest addition to the Biles family, is bringing warmth and inspiration. She is becoming a source of adoration for her aunt, the legendary gymnast Simone Biles. From the moment Ronni came into the world, Simone declared her “my precious little niece,” and now, at 1.5 years old, Baby Biles reciprocates that sentiment with boundless affection. Recently, Simone Biles has continued to captivate audiences with her unparalleled talent, securing her ninth consecutive win in gymnastics. 

After this win, Baby Biles emerges as an enthusiastic supporter of her aunt Simone, seen cheering her on in her mother’s social media posts. Simone Biles’ illustrious career, highlighted by four Olympic golds in the 2016 Rio Games and two medals in Tokyo, naturally serves as a source of inspiration. This impressive pedigree has ignited Baby Biles’ interest in the sport, prompting her to try her hand at gymnastics as well.

Recently, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi Biles, shared an adorable story on Instagram featuring Biles’ niece, Ronni. Baby Biles was seen saying, “Congratulations again to TT on her 9th AA win 🫶🤯🐐✨.” In the video, Baby Biles cutely twirls just as her aunt does on the TV and cheers loudly as Simone proceeds with the rest of her routine, ending in a perfectly executed landing. Sammi also wrote, “as if she didn’t just yesterday 😂but pretending to do her own version of a full turn like TT & of course a celebratory cheer 🎉however I’m not one bit mad about it that she is enjoying the sport 🥺selfishly I hope it lasts 🤍”.

Baby Biles seems eager to follow in her aunt’s footsteps, as evidenced by her frequent visits to the World Champions Center, where Simone trains. Ronni sure is proud of Simone’s Xfinity performance. At the 2024 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships, Simone Biles came out right on top. She won her record-extending ninth all-around title at the championships. Biles finished with a combined score of 119.750 over the two days. She clinched the AA title and swept all five individual event titles, showcasing her mastery.

Her coach, Cecile Landi, praised her mindset: “It’s not even the skills; it’s the attitude and her behavior. I truly feel like she’s happy to be here. I know she says she’s ready to be done, but I think she’s really enjoying it and appreciating every meet she gets to do.” Biles herself expressed her self-confidence ahead of the Olympics, saying, “Today it was just about getting out here, getting comfortable and confident in my gymnastics, and hopefully going to Olympic trials and taking that next step towards Paris.” Her back-to-back wins have inspired young athletes around the world, including her little niece. 

Baby Biles draws inspiration from Aunt Simone Biles

Since Simone’s sister Adriana’s exit from gymnastics, Ronni might be the new member ready to step into the gymnastics spotlight. Simone Biles’ passion for gymnastics sparked during a daycare field trip to a gymnastics center. She tried to emulate the athletes there and was recognized for her talent. Similarly, Ronni Biles is always excited about gymnastics. Sammi often posts pictures of her in the gym, admiring top-level athletes like Melanie Santos. During the championships’ final day, little Ronni joined her family, dressed in a shimmering beige onesie.

NBC Sports shared a heartwarming video of the Biles family, including Simone’s mother, her brother, sister-in-law, husband Jonathan Owens, and baby niece. Captioning it, “No one loved Simone Biles’ floor exercise more than her family.” Ronni remained utterly captivated, not even blinking as Simone flawlessly executed her floor routine. In the end, they all stood up to applaud the performance. 

Ronni was gifted a special leotard of her own from Simone Biles’ coach and WCC women’s program head Cecile Landi. Another Instagram update showed Ronni watching the US Classics highlights on YouTube. In the video, she adorably expressed her excitement, celebrating Simone with claps and cheers while jumping around. She had even worn a pink leotard to match Simone. It’s early to predict if Ronni Biles will become a household gymnastics name, but we’re hopeful.
